New Faith Starts Workshop
Date: June 21-22, 2013
Location: Madison, WI

The workshop leader is Rev. Kim Griffith from Griffith Coaching. Kim is an UM Elder from the Florida Conference and has successfully planted new churches and started new worship services and ministries by inviting people who had no faith involvement. This workshop is for district strategy teams, local church pastors, SPRC teams or anyone wanting to expand their outreach to those with no faith involvement and wish to start a new worship service or ministry.

REAL Retreat

The REAL Retreat (Rest, Eat, And Laugh) invites United Methodist clergy and laity of Wisconsin to reflect on your spiritual journeys, share your stories, and renew your souls.

SOULfeast 2013

Rising Sun Camp

The Rising Sun Camp is a week-long camp sponsored by the Wisconsin Conference of The United Methodist Church and designed for students who have a parent who is incarcerated. It is an opportunity for students to connect with other students like them and to receive support and encouragement while giving their care-givers back home some time of respite. Campers will work on team-building, conflict management and trust building as well as have the opportunity to experience all of the fun things that camp has to offer—from campfires to canoeing, nature trails and games, and much more!

Wild Fire! 2013

Are you looking for a cost effective, yet powerful mission trip for your youth group? Then, be a part of the Superior Wildfire! event July 21- 26. You will have the opportunity to help make a real difference in the lives of people who are "falling through the cracks" of society.

Further, at the Superior Wildfire! youth mission event we will try to offer "separate yet common" experiences for both Jr./Middle and Sr. High youth. As much as possible, Jr. High youth will be grouped with other Jr. High youth for the week's events, and the Sr. High youth with other Sr. High youth for activities. This will allow combined Jr./Sr. High youth groups to have a common mission experience and yet will also allow programming to be more specialized for different age levels.

Exploration 2013

EXPLORATION 2013 is a three-day event for young adults age 18-26 to hear, discern and respond to God's call to ordained ministry and to explore their gifts for service as a deacon or elder in The United Methodist Church. If you have sensed God might be calling you to ordained ministry, wondered what ministry in The United Methodist Church is all about, would like help sifting through issues involved in an ordained vocation or want to learn more about The United Methodist seminaries and theological schools, this gathering is for you.
