What services do you provide for the people of the Wisconsin United Methodist Church: Along with Conference staff working in the Finance Office, Service Center, and Archives, and various Conference committees, commissions, and boards, I serve the Wisconsin Annual Conference by providing financial and administrative services for the connection and by maintaining an effective finance and administration organization. This includes:

• Receiving and disbursing money from local churches for all duly authorized causes.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Assisting clergy and lay employees with pensions and other benefits.
• Acting as a resource for clergy and laypersons seeking information about financial, audit, tax, fringe benefits, statistical tables, and other finance-related issues for churches and clergy.

What you enjoy most about your job: The variety of committed Christians with whom I am privileged to work, as well as the variety and challenge of the work I do.

A dream you have for your particular area of work: The completion and adoption of an administrative policies and procedures manual for the Conference, to help ensure accountability and consistency in our stewardship of the financial resources we are given. (OK, it may not be an exciting dream to non-accountants, but I still think it is necessary!)
