Byron Center sits on approximately 13 acres atop a prominent section of the Niagara Escarpment with an additional 35 undeveloped acres "over the ledge." Several springs coming out of the escarpment form the head waters of "campground creek." The stream meanders through characteristic Kettle Moraine flora and fauna into a natural marsh. Groomed trails make exploring this varied environment enjoyable throughout the year. For a map of our nature trail, please click here. Click here to return to top of page.
The swimming pool is a popular place for guests during the warm summer months. There is a certified lifeguard on duty whenever the pool is in use for your safety. The pool is located next to Royer Lodge and under a canopy of large trees. The maximum depth of the pool is eight feet, with a shallow wading pool at the opposite end for young children or for those who just want to get their feet wet. Mail: Outgoing mail may be placed in the Byron Center mailbox at the entry on County F.
