Our Church is a source of strength, comfort and Joy!
All of our Bashford family comforts us in our time of need and rejoices in our good fortune. We have a wealth of resources to rely on.
My deepest friends are at Bashford. I also love being involved with the music.
Bashford has truly become a family to me. When I experienced some dark days, almost ten years ago, I found comfort and support here. When I announced plans to re-marry, on Sunday in church, the whole congregation gave a resounding hand of applause and congratulations. Whenever we come to church, the welcoming faces of friends meet us. This is our family of Bashford UMC.
My experience of God is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is alive and well - in fact thriving - in Bashford's people.
Playing bells is my source of therapy. I look forward to not only playing, but being with the people involved. Being part of the Food Pantry makes me realize how fortunate I am as well as the Bashford House for the Battered Women & Children.
Knowing the church family is there.
Bashford's mission expands beyond the walls of your sanctuary. It reaches into the community, and welcomes people of all ages to become members of our family. Strong families are able to provide for the needs of each member. Bashford is blessed with so much talent and enthusiasm.
Everyone was so friendly...we felt at home and very welcome right from the beginning. This congregation also seems to have lots of young families with children which our children love.
Bashford has a large number of younger families and very strong youth groups. We feel very much at home and a part of the Bashford Family.
