The Commission on Archives and History is pleased to announce that Lois Olsen has been chosen as the 2009 recipient of the "Ministry of Memory Award" presented by the Historical Society of the United Methodist Church. Lois was selected from among nominees submitted by the General Commission, the Historical Society and chairs of all our Conference commissions. Lois is being recognized based on her many years as editor of our Commission's newsletter Flashbacks, her historical writings, her concern for EUB history, her tireless work promoting our Conference museum in Greenfield and so much more. She will receive her award at the annual meeting of the Historical Society at lake Junaluskca, NC in July of 2009. Please join us in congratulating Lois on this well deserved honor.
