Reports
to: Administrative Council
Anticipated
meeting schedule: at least quarterly
Purpose:
To coordinate welcoming efforts for visitors, assimilation of new
members, nurturing of present members, and re-involvement of inactive
members.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome
visitors and provide appropriate follow up.
Develop processes to
assimilate new members into the church family.
Contact and support
members in time of personal need.
Provide invitation
and encouragement to non-active members prior to listing on both the
one year and two year inactive lists anticipated to presented at the
annual Charge Conference.
Suggest revisions of
this committee description to the administrative council.
Complete any other
duties as assigned by the administrative council.
