Vision & Mission

Ministry in the City is a cooperative effort of the United Methodist churches to hear God's call to be in ministry with the communities of Metropolitan Milwaukee.

Each participating local church has opportunity to discover increased strength and health while being involved in new mission and ministry possiblities in partnership with other church and community organizations.

A Message from the District Superintendent

Ministry in the city offers wholistic transformation to the city and to the United Methodist church in the metro region. Instead of being limited to the reach of individual churches, we will exercise different muscles across cultures, with urban and suburban churches, smaller and larger membership churches, all combined toward an expanded and seamless reach, wrapping our arms around the city.
