Program Ministries This Week . . .
A sincere welcome to all who have come to worship the Lord! May each of us have our faith increased, our love enhanced, and our courage strengthened. May God’s presence be very real to each of us as we worship together.

Radio Ministry
Gifts contributed to our radio ministry broadcast this morning were given by John Hilmanowski.
Financial Stewardship Campaign
“Spirited Giving for Turbulent Times,” our fall financial stewardship campaign, invites you to fuel God’s light among us by estimating your giving for 2009.
If you haven’t had an opportunity to return your estimate of giving card, please feel free to drop it into the offering plate or bring it to the church office. Extra cards are located in the pew slots and on the Welcome Center.
Your estimate allows us to budget our ministry for next year, as well as allows contributors to plan their giving with faith and commitment.
Spirited giving gives ordinary people the chance to do great things for God by offering simple gifts with love and faithfulness.

How To Help People Deployed in the Military and Their Families
One half of the Wisconsin Army National Guard is deploying overseas in 2009. Come and learn how your faith community can support soldiers and families in your neighborhoods by joining in “Partners in Care.”
Partners in Care is a voluntary relationship between faith communities and the Wisconsin National Guard. The purpose of this agreement is to provide faith-based support to those members of the Wisconsin National Guard and their families upon request. In a nutshell, participating congregations offer support services to Guard members – regardless of religious affiliation – who need everything from food to vehicle repairs, to crisis and grief counseling. “Partners In Care” is an ideal program for Guard families who need help but don’t have relatives in the area.
The Eau Claire area meeting will be held at the Sleep Inn and Suites on Thursday, November 20th from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
For more information contact Chaplaina Doug Hedman, Wisconsin Army National Guard, (608-242-3450 or 608-630-1660).
